Can we just give a round of applause for planes.
The fact that I was in Washington D.C. this morning,
Atlanta this afternoon, and I'll be in Montana tomorrow is insane. Less than one hundred years ago they didn't even exist? How is that even possible? What the hell did people do? Omg can you imagine going to a Europe on a boat? +
Here's a fun fact, back in the 50s my dad was in the service and had to do a mulitweek transatlantic trip on a warship. He said the hammocks were stacked 5 high and when there was a crazy intense storm the propeller would come out of the water and you could hear it spinning before it crashed back down into the next wave cycle. I literally can't. Just thinking about it makes me nauseous and claustrophobic 🤢.
Anywho, just thought I'd give a shout out to the metal birds and although I'm not exactly a huge fan of flying, I sure can appreciate how much they've opened the world up for us humans. Bravo Wright brothers, bravo.
Catch ya soon from the last best place on earth. Can you say family vacay? So excited. First timer 🙋🏼. I just know a rane and I are gonna be obsessed.
