New Sugar Cookie Doughnut from @dunkindonuts! Ok, so this your classic example of “Doesn’t taste like what it says, but still tastes pretty good.” Assuming you want 410 cals of pure sugar of course. It’s vanilla frosted and then that candy gravel you see is frosted sugar cookie pieces, which taste *exactly* like Rice Krispie Treats cereal. (😍) Swipe left for the kicker: a cookie dough flavored filling that doesn’t taste like any cookie dough I’ve ever eaten. I’d give it a 7.5/10 on the Dunkin’ Scale. I think the Candy Cane Crunch donut from last year bested this but it’s a fun donut. New Gingerbread Cookie Donut review tomorrow.

Alright so before anyone points fingers, this is not the fault of any single person in particular. Yes, the situation sucks and no one enjoys getting injured, but this could have been a lot worse had the bar landed in a different spot. We should have had two additional spotters on either side of the bar and it’s my fault for not making that call. End of story. Maku made sure to take care of the situation as quickly as he possibly could knowing that this wasn’t a simple “I bumped into a barbell” type of injury. Do NOT go and blame him. Let’s just say the IPF overlords got pissed at me for using my deadlift bar the other day 😂
Unfortunately I’m out of the gym until my forearm and leg heal up and quite frankly it sucks not being able to do anything, but there are millions of other people in way worse situations. I’m lucky to be walking away from this with no broken bones, rather just some bad knurling scrapes and bruising.

Each Thanksgiving I dedicate the whole week to a “Grateful & Present Challenge”. One quote in particular by Robert Holden truly resonates with my heart during this time of year: "The real gift of gratitude is that the more #grateful you are, the more #present you become." I can't think of any better way to honor these principles especially since it’s a week solely dedicate to giving thanks...Thanksgiving! Over the next seven days, with this challenge in mind, I will share one thing I've experienced or encountered on that day that I'm grateful for. I hope that you will follow along and in turn reflect on the things that you are grateful for. Peace, love, gratefulness, and being present ✌🏼️The goal is the beauty in being present and in return giving thanks. .
[Grateful & Present Day 5 - Being Home on a Monday.] As simple as it may seem, being home at the beginning of the week is what I’m grateful for today. I’m literally #jumping for #JOY ! Because of my gratitude I felt like I was able to slow down a bit and just enjoy the little things. I was able to run five miles around the #hood and then practiced #yoga tonight at Highland Yoga. A #perfect#day if you ask me. Oh! And I got to wear my newest pair of @zensah#zensah compression #socks . They have #donuts all over them. 🍩 Looking forward to having family arrive tomorrow for the Thanksgiving Holiday. Cheers and Happy Monday!
