Here's another quality post from my friend @chrisduncanfitness. Lunges are an awesome exercise for your quads and glutes but I continue to see people doing them incorrectly.
Since most people tend to do high reps for lunges, there is a tendency to rush through the set to get it over with faster. However, that leads to a loss of focus on form which commonly leads to knees caving in and sloppy performance overall.
Do your lunges correctly. Your knees and toes should be aligned. You'll feel it more, you'll get better results, and you'll be at a much lower risk for injury.
Look for one good reason to just START. Hold onto it. Envision what it would feel like when you've achieved it. Believe that your self worth is way more WORTH it than sitting on the sidelines watching life pass you by. Because if that one little thing would make all the difference, then why not just start now? It doesn't have to be a leap. It can be just minor changes. Like not giving into a whole cupcake and just having half of it and giving the rest to a friend. Or putting the salad dressing on the side of your salad and just dipping your fork in the dressing and then into the salad instead. Or maybe just slow jog on the same exact treadmill for 5-10 minutes for 1 week until your comfortable with the idea of jogging for 15 whole minutes nonstop! It's no surprise that small changes turn into big results. And if you set your expectations too high, you might not reach them because nobody ever just sprinted a mile at full speed at the start. They had to practice, train, and go through pain. But in the end when you've reached your goal, you'll look back smiling knowing that all the time, energy, and effort spent didn't go wasted because instead, it was so so WORTH IT. Just focus on the goal. Not on the negative self doubts that drown you telling you can can't. As of recently in the gym, I found myself really emphasizing my compound lifts, and its giving me some great results. I see a lot of people doing a lot of crazy things on Instagram in the gym, the truth is the bread and butter works fam.
I get a lot of questions regarding how I build my booty, and here are a few tips
1. Hipthrusters. do them.
2. Sumo deadlifts do them.
3. Squats yup you know it.
4. Eat in a surplus to gain lean muscle mass.
Honestly now I’m excited to go to the gym. Feeling so confident in my body, and I’m making the gains that I want to be making!
It’s ok to live a life that others don’t understand..
And the sooner you accept that, the sooner you will find peace.
We spend so much of our time trying to please others that we forget to please ourselves. Being at peace with yourself and having a clear conscience should always be at the top of the list. I’m not saying be selfish and act as if it’s only you that exists in this universe, but I am talking about constantly doing favours for others, letting things slide that annoy you to some degree and doing or saying things just for the sake of ‘fitting in’ and not rocking the boat. If there’s something that doesn’t sit right with you, chances are that there is a reason why it doesn’t sit right with you. Call it intuition, gut feeling or conscience, whatever it may be, don’t ignore it. Don’t be afraid to stand up for your self and say what you really want and what’s really on your mind. After all our individuality is what makes us all beautiful 💕

Almost 34 weeks! Sorry I️ have been away for so long. Lots of appointments 🙁 I have a new accessory for a couple weeks to make sure my heart is okay. I have to take steroid drops because my eyes are swollen too. Did I mention I had a bug? Fuuuuun. NOT! Like I said worst pregnancy yet. That’s okay it’s almost over. Oh and silly me forgot my prenatal vitamins while on vacation so I am trying to get back on track with that. Talk about pregnancy brain to the max! I swear my body is done making babies and is telling me to stop. Sorry if this is all negative not trying to be. Just trying to be real. S/o to anyone who can relate! Also does anyone even read this? Haha okay maybe some. I love when I get comments that don’t make sense to my posts from randos. Anyways I’m just rambling now. I hope everyone gets to spend Thanksgiving with loved ones❤️ family or not.

Today was leg day for me after a very ill Sunday yesterday, leaving me to have a rest day :( BUT that is OK, give your body what it needs, you will only progress by listening to it!! I honestly could hardly walk after, it was rough getting down the stairs. not many exercises today but high reps and decently heavy weight it really burned lawls.
