Following the Padmavati film debate people like Sashi Tharoor and Javed Akhtar seem to be passing senseless comments. On a personal note, I would like to remind these old and physically weak men that our ancestors have shed their blood and fought wars to lay the foundation of this country. From being warriors to the best administrators, our history is not a piece of joke that old men like you can pass provocative and baseless statements.
When we speak about Bhavnagar State, let me remind you that Maharaja KrishnaKumar Sinhji was the First Indian ruler to join democratic India. The hospitals, schools, courts and government offices are way bigger than the palaces of the royal family. A state where no one went hungry or un-employed, where people loved their leaders, these were a few qualities of our ancestors.
I can understand the jealousy you old men have, for your ancestors never laid their lives to build this country neither have they been written down in our history. And Tharoor, sort out your wife's death case before thinking about our history.
