Lovely viking reenactor @annethearcher is making a GIVEAWAY (check her account for more details and don't hesitate to join! 🤗). It was hard to choose only 3 pictures of her I like the most, but here they are!
Since early childhood I've been dreaming about medieval times, warriors and adventures - nothing surprising that when I found her account I got totally amazed by wonderful viking and archery photos she posts! 🏹
Following her living history way, watching how she improves both as an archer and reenactor, inspired me a lot and gave a lot of motivation to push my viking reenactment projects further, too.
By posting pictures of medieval gear details (clothes, viking brooch bling, archery equipment and sewing stuff) Anne shows how many different objects and preparations play role in creating such a great final effect as her outfits are. All of it takes time - she puts a lot of energy in it, but the results of her photoshoots are worth it all 😍
And last, but not less important thing: Anne is a living proof, that "if you can dream about it, you can make it". She's been struggling with low self-esteem, skin problems and others - which didn't stop her. No matter any difficulties, she keeps creating and living the adventures she always wanted to liven, and made what such a brave and strong babe she's now.
Thank you @annethearcher for being such an inspiration for me and so many others ❤
throwback to last autumn when i started my shield maiden kit. it’s come such a long way since then, from any semblance of historical accuracy to craftsmanship and aesthetic, but it’s still got a lot of room to improve and grow and i’m really excited about the process of learning new skills, research, collecting, and making. i’m looking forward to seeing where this journey takes me and all the new things i am learning along the way. #norse#shieldmaiden#fantasy#medieval#renaissancefestival#wannabereenactor ;)
