Becca Skinner sees the world in a way I don't think I'll ever be entirely acquainted with. The softness - the peace - of her vision really shows me how in photography we can all be looking at the same things (coffee, socks, a dog, a sunrise, the list goes on) but the clarity of one's personal thought and drive will instigate them to produce work that just...sees it differently. Even in a commercial setting she just sees stuff others don't see. I admire and look up to Becca's work constantly. She inspires the shit out of me. I always say there are only two people with whom I'd switch lives. If I could be anyone other than me it would be Becca.
